To address this problem, ASCIA and Allergy & Anaphylaxis Australia (A&AA), as the leading medical and patient organisations for allergy in Australia, developed a National Allergy Strategy for Australia in collaboration with other key stakeholder organisations.

The National Allergy Strategy aims to address public health issues relating to the rapid and continuing rise of allergy in Australia and improve the health and quality of life of people with allergic diseases, their carers and the community.

The National Allergy Strategy is available at https://nationalallergycouncil.org.au/

The National Allergy Council was launched on Wednesday 31st  August 2022 during the ASCIA 2022 Conference week in Melbourne. The National Allergy Council continues to implement the National Allergy Strategy, which was launched in August 2015.
