ASCIA Submissions - PBAC Meeting March 2024

ASCIA has lodged five submissions in response to the Consultation for the March 2024 meeting of the Pharmaceutical Benefits Advisory Committee (PBAC). These submissions relate to applications for new or updated Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS) listings of products that are relevant to allergy and immunology.

Support Allergy and Immunology Research in 2024

A new Sponsorship Prospectus for Allergy and Immunology Foundation of Australasia (AIFA) research grants is now available. AIFA has awarded over $700,000 in research grants to 34 projects since 2015, as listed on the AIFA website and is now seeking support for 2024 research grants.

Apply here for the Grifols ASPIRE Award (by 31 March 2024) for research projects that improve immunodeficiency awareness, diagnosis and therapy.

Registration Open for ASCIA Dietitians Course 9^-10 May 2024

The next ASCIA Food Allergy and Adverse Food Reactions Course for Dietitians will be held in Adelaide on Thursday 9th to Friday 10th May 2024. This course has an interactive in-person program that is focused on medical nutrition therapy in food allergy and intolerance.
