AIFA Research Grants 2023

Congratulations to the recipients of Allergy and Immunology Foundation of Australasia (AIFA) grants in 2023, who are listed on the AIFA website

ASCIA 2023 Conference poster abstracts are now published online in the Internal Medicine Journal (IMJ) and can be accessed here

ASCIA Food Allergy and Adverse Food Reactions Course for Dietitians

Registration is open to all dietitians for the ASCIA Food Allergy and Adverse Food Reactions Course, which is being held for the first time in Sydney, on Thursday 23 and Friday 24 November 2023.

This course has an interactive in-person program that is focussed on medical nutrition therapy in food allergy and intolerance.

The Nip allergies in the Bub website has been re-designed, to make it easier for parents to find information about:

  • Food allergy prevention - feeding the common allergy causing foods to babies by 12 months of age and continuing to include these foods.
  • Managing eczema.

The Grifols ASPIRE award provides financial support (€50,000) to young scientists and clinicians who wish to undertake a research project that seeks to improve immunodeficiency awareness, diagnosis and therapy.

Reminder: Stallergenes Greer Foundation Science Awards for Allergy 2023

These science awards in allergy are for young or mid-career scientists to advance precision medicine in the field of allergy or be recognised for outstanding work in the environmental field, to advance the prevention and treatment of allergies.
