ASCIA 2023 Conference Registration and Abstract Submission

ASCIA 2023 Conference: 5-8 September 2023

Registration is still open for the ASCIA 2023 Conference, to be held at the International Convention Centre (ICC) Sydney from Tuesday 5 to Friday 8 September 2023. This is a hybrid conference, with in-person or virtual attendance, and on-demand viewing of sessions for all registered delegates after the conference.

New 2023 ASCIA Travel Plan for People at Risk of Anaphylaxis

The new 2023 version of the ASCIA Travel Plan for people at risk of anaphylaxis has been designed for use with the 2023 version of the red ASCIA Action Plan for Anaphylaxis. These plans are available here

The changes to improve ease of use are the first major formatting updates since ASCIA Action Plans were introduced in 2003. Read more here

ASCIA Report: National Allergy Council Shared Care for Allergy Project

The latest ASCIA Progress Report - National Allergy Council Shared Care for Allergy Project includes a report on feedback from ASCIA health professional anaphylaxis e-training course surveys that were conducted in 2022.

A survey for graduates of health professional degrees has commenced on 21 July 2023 at www.allergy.org.au/hp and will close on 18 August 2023. Feedback from this survey will help ASCIA to improve allergy training in tertiary degrees for future health professionals.

The latest ASCIA Progress Report - National Allergy Council Schools and Childcare Project includes reports on ASCIA anaphylaxis e-training course surveys for schools and children’s education/care (CEC) that were conducted in 2022.

ASCIA thanks all the people studying and/or working in schools and CEC  who participated in the recent survey, which closed on 30 June 2023.
