GUIDELINES FOR ANAPHYLAXIS PREVENTION
New guidelines for prevention of food anaphylactic reactions in schools, preschools and childcare centres are now available on the ASCIA website: http://www.allergy.org.au/content/view/10/3/ (and also as a printable pdf file).
These guidelines have been prepared and reviewed by ASCIA over the last six months, to assist in minimising the risk of life threatening food-induced anaphylaxis in schools, preschools and childcare centres. In developing these guidelines ASCIA has taken into account established guidelines, published studies and practical considerations.
